Tyson Fury has made a change to his three-fight plan
for the remainder of his career.
The ‘Gypsy King’ is due to face Deontay Wilder in a
rematch on February 22 and will have just two fights remaining on his Top
Rank/ESPN contract once the bout is finished.
Fury will face Wilder again on February 22
He previously stated his final three would be
Wilder, Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, but has now replaced Whyte with an
old friend.
Fury told BT Sport: “I’m gonna knock Wilder out,
then he’s not gonna want a rematch.
“Then I’m gonna fight Joshua and I’m gonna beat him
too.
“And then I always said to my old pal Derek Chisora
that I’d have a farewell fight with him.
“Maybe I get
the Old Trafford fight with ‘Del Boy’ after all.
“And then it’s curtains on a fantastic career.”
It is as yet unknown whether Fury truly will end his
career at the end of this deal, but he insists this is the current plan.
