Nigerian Football Supporters Club receives CAF President, others

The Nigerian Football Supporters Club on Friday received President of The Confederation of Africa Football, CAF, Ahmad Ahmad and other members of the Africa’s football family to Nigeria.

Also on hand to receive CAF President at the Muritala Mohammed Airport was NFF President, Amaju Pinnick and other dignitaries who enjoyed a good rendition of songs from Supporters Club.

Speaking exclusively to Nigerian Newslive, Prince Vincent Okumagba expressed his happiness and that of every member of the association to received CAF president to Nigeria.

He said, “we are here to welcome CAF President, Ahmad Ahmad and other members of CAF to Nigeria and wish them a happy stay in the country.”

It will be recalled that Super Eagles became the first African country to qualify for 2018 World Cup in Russia with a game in hand with the unflinching support of the Supporters Club.

In their game against Cameroon in Uyo, Okumagba made good his promise of 1000 supporters to cheer Eagles in the game the Gernot Rohr wards won 4-0.

Also, Okumagba fulfilled his promise of providing 2000 supporters for Eagles again Chipolopolo of Zambia in Uyo in the last but one World Cup qualifier in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.
