Executive Director, Retail Banking
at First City Monument Bank, Olu Akanmu will lead discussions at this year’s
Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria’s (EXMAN) Business Conference scheduled to hold between
2:00PM to 5:00PM on Friday July 28 at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Also to discuss on the occasion is
Group Chief Marketing Officer at Dangote Plc, Oare Ojekere.
Both Olu Akanmu and Oare Ojeikere will
present papers on Using meaningful
experiences to bring the brands to life. Implications for marketing
practitioners. They will also provide their thoughts and leadership in
driving the discussion.
EXMAN is organizing the conference
in order to provide a platform for members of the experiential marketing and
activation industry to discuss, exchange ideas and proffer lasting solutions to
issues affecting the practice in Nigeria.
According to EXMAN President, Dr.
Rotimi Olaniyan, the conference is open to both EXMAN members and non member
who will register appropriately.
The business conference is part of
activities lined up for this year’s Annual General Meeting of the association
which will come up on
Saturday 29th of July in Lagos.
There will also be the inaugural
EXMAN Awards for Excellence in Experiential which will take place from 6.00pm on Saturday
29th July at the Civic Centre, Lagos.
It will be recalled that EXMAN
recently announced the names of the judges for the inaugural edition of the
EXMAN Awards.
The judges will be led by Mr.
Idorenyen (Idy) Enang, who is currently CEO at Corporate Shepherds Limited. Idy,
an accomplished Marketing Practitioner was Managing Director, L’Oreal Central
West Africa (2013-2015) and Managing Director, Samsung Electronics West Africa
(2010-2012). Other judges include Mrs. Bimbo Alabi, ADVAN 2nd Vice
President; Steve Babaeko, CEO, X3M Ideas; Sam Osunsoko, MD, Leo Burnett Lagos
and Mr. IkechukwuObiaya, Dean School of Media and Communications, Pan African
University.
The association also appointed
Gbenga Badejo & Co. as the Auditors to the award.
