Nasarawa United and Rivers
United will go toe to toe in a match day Nigeria Professional League (NPFL)
game in Lafia on Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Rivers United come into
the fixture on the back of a 0-2 loss to Katsina United in a rescheduled NPFL

to fight back and put their floundering campaign back on track.
The occasion on Sunday
will be extra special for Rivers United midfielder, Esosa Igbinoba who will be
returning to his old stomping ground to face his former club.
Nasarawa United striker,

faithful.
“Esosa is a very good
player who did very well for Nasarawa United before he
joined Rivers United.
“He will get a good
reception from fans of the club (Nasarawa United).
“We are not intimidated by
the prospect of facing Rivers United and will approach the game with the aim of
amassing all three points,” he said.

and revealed that he will not celebrate if he scores against his former club on
Sunday.
“The fans of Nasarawa
United showed me so much love and I will not celebrate if I score against
(Nasarawa United on Sunday).
