Nigeria National League
(NNL) new chief executive officer, Bukola Olopade has unfolded details of a new
partnership agreement sealed between the lower division body and Lagos-based
hotel, Amara Suites.
Making the deal public
ahead of the NNL’s opening weekend for the new season this weekend, Olopade
said the partnership will mark a new trend in bringing adequate hospitality and
leisure values for Nigerian football.
The former commissioner
for sports in Ogun State, who has been actively involved as organizer of Access
Bank Lagos City Marathon for two years running, said the NNL will set new
standards for other league bodies in the country to emulate.
Olopade stated: “I am
happy and proud o reveal that we at the Nigeria National League (NNL) have
signed a partnership agreement with Amara Suites and Hotels of Lagos for
hospitality services in the new season of the league.
“This will mark the
beginning of something refreshingly new and exciting not only for the NNL but
also for Nigerian football in general, with enduring benefits for players,
referees, other match officials and journalists as a whole.”
