NIGERIA which is the exclusive official representative of SIMA in Nigeria will be organizing a mission of Nigerian
Companies to this year‘s SIMA 2017, the
International Agricultural Trade Show which comes up from 26th of February to 2nd of March 2017
& SIA (SALON INTERNATIONAL DE L’AGRICULTURE) which also comes
up between February 25th and March 5th 2017; both in Paris France.
SIMA as a biennial event contains a showcase of agricultural innovations,
technology and latest trends. It also
provides the ideal avenue through which participants can be
able to explore numerous options in order to attain
developmental strides in the agricultural
sector.
The French Development Agency (AFD) would be there to provide its
services through grants, loans, guarantee funds for projects, programmes and
studies, and supports its partners in strengthening their capacities.

This year’s edition of SIMA
at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre will be a place for the discovery
of innovation and talent as it will focus on the theme "Being a farmer in 10 years”. The Trade Show will cast a prospective
look at the job of farming through the new vintage of one of its leading
events-within-the-event: “Innovation First” from Four (4) main angles namely: Digital Farming: Farming Jobs in a Digital
Age, Robotics: tomorrow, a driverless tractor?, Ecological Economics: the

of this event will be the attendance of France’s President who attends the SALON INTERNATIONAL DE L’AGRICULTURE (SIA 2017) trade show
every year, just like his predecessors, as it is a must-visit trade show for French Presidents.
