A new general interest
journal, City Informant Magazine has been introduced into the market by its
publishers, Holistic Publishers Limited.
According to a statement
from the Editor in Chief, Mr. Adegboyega Adepitan, the magazine was conceived
and made real "to provide value added information on current events as
they unfold and affect humanity through the experience of men and woman who
have impacted positively on the society with their services and products."
Mr. Adepitan also
disclosed that the magazine will focus on health, property, environment,
healthy living, money and banking, entrepreneurship, brands and marketing,
fashion and lifestyle, sports, entertainment and general news, especially views
from the archives.
It has in its debut
edition, interviews with Reverend Tony Akinyemi, the Senior Pastor of the
Sheperd's Flock International church, Lagos on GMO foods and the danger to
health, Chief Olushola Dada, Managing Director of Anchoria Investment Limited,
Mr.Biodun Marquis, Managing Director of Pragmatic Technologies Limited and
Honourable Segun Olulade, Chairman, Committee on Health, Lagos State House of
Assembly who quipped that "Lagos State will soon become Africa's medical
tourist centre."
The magazine which is
scheduled to be published monthly has on board, eminent professionals who have
garnered over eighty years experience in journalism, publishing, business,
banking, marketing, public relations and outdoor advertising.
Some of the brains behind
the publication are Mr. Adegboyega Adepitan, an experienced business
administrator and former President, Association of Waste Managers of
Association of Nigeria; Mrs. Bosede -Eke- Adepitan, a resourceful money and
banking administrator, Mr. Banji Idowu, an outdoor advertising practitioner and
Mr. Akinwumi Dickson, an award winning journalist.
