Champions Hapoel Beer-Sheva have signed unknown Nigerian defender Emmanuel
Ushie making the number of Nigerian players in the club to three.
Ushie
joins the Nigerian duo of John Ogu and Anthony Nwakaeme at the Europa League
campaigners, but the defender will have to work his way to the main team
starting from the youth team.
The
talented defender was signed on a one year deal with the option of another four
years based on performances and career progress.
Ushie
was scouted in Abuja by respected Israeli scout David Ouziel, who has transfered
of many Nigerian players to Isreal.
Ushie
will represent Hapoel Beer-Sheva, who are in Group K of the Europa League with Sparta
Praha, Inter Milan and Southampton.
