Police clear air on Buhari/Dog saga

Ogun State Police Command have said that the case involving one Joeaxim IroKo who named his dog Buhari and Alhaji Hilalu Umar ‘m’ of Ketere area of Sango, in Ogun State has nothing to do with President Mohammadu Buhari.

In a press release made available to the media and signed by PPRO, Ogun State Police Command, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Command stated that Alhaji Halilu, complainant reported Iroko after writing Buhari on both sides of his dog.

The Command added that despite all efforts took to settle the matter between the two parties it remained unresolved, hence the Command resorted to the use of force.

According to the release, “The Command took a proactive step by charging the case to court in order to avert unnecessary blood shedding.”

The Command urged the general public to maintain peace as the case is under control.
