Supreme Court stop Wikki in Bauchi

Supreme Court Football Club of Abuja on Sunday held home side, Wikki Feeders to a goalless draw in one of the Nigeria National League, NNL matches decided as the second stanza of the league kicked off.

The week eight encounter was somewhat a repeat of what transpired in the last game (match day seven) of the league’s first stanza when Wikki picked a point in Abuja.

The pulsating meet inside Abubakar Tafawa Balewa stadium which drew sizeable fans failed to produce any goal in either half after both teams made repeated effort to score.

Uche who was with the Abuja-based team last season told newsmen after the game that his best was yet to come he was already fired up to keep more clean sheet for the rest of the season.

“I think I will give the credit to my teammates for playing as one. Everyone in the team showed commitment. We need to remain focused and fight on till the end,” he added.

Team Manager, Cletus Nwaobi assured Fans that the flair which the team was known for is gradually returning.
