Anthony Joshua’s fight with Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller in June will be announced imminently, according to reports.

The WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion is set to make his US debut against unbeaten Brooklyn fighter Miller at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York.

Joshua last fought in September against Alexander Povetkin
ESPN claims confirmation of the fight is expected on Monday as a deal between promoters Eddie Hearn and Greg Cohen has been agreed, but has not been signed off yet.

The bout will be streamed on the DAZN platform in the USA and will be Joshua’s first fight outside the UK.

ESPN Boxer reporter Dan Rafael said: “Unified heavyweight world titleholder Anthony Joshua and top contender Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller will meet on June 1 at Madison Square Garden after their promoters came to terms.”

British fighter Joshua had booked Wembley Stadium for April 13th in the hope of facing Deontay Wilder and thus having a shot at becoming undisputed heavyweight champ.

But negotiations broke down between Joshua and Wilder’s camp last year and it looks as though the Bronze Bomber will have a rematch with Tyson Fury after their controversial draw in Los Angeles.

AJ then turned his attention to fellow Brit Dillian Whyte, however, talks broke down between the pair – leaving Joshua no option but to scrapping his Wembley date.

Joshua has an unblemished record having won all 22 of his fights – 21 of them via knockout.

His last fight came in September with a seventh-round knockout victory over Alexander Povetkin.
