Three major stadium venues have joined Stadium Experience in the last month taking the total number of consortium members to 60.

These include Gloucester Rugby Club (Kingsholm Stadium), Harlequins Rugby Club (Twickenham Stoop Stadium), and Scunthorpe United Football Club (Glanford Park Stadium).

Stadium Experience is a not-for-profit marketing consortium and aims to share best practice and promote stadia as unique and prestigious venues for meetings, conferences and events.  The group has increased its membership dramatically in the last few years, with 20 new members in the last 20 months.

The other new members include; AFC Fylde, Arsenal Football Club, Aviva Stadium, Croke Park Stadium, Ipswich Town Football Club, Leeds United Football Club, Manchester United Football Club, Munster Rugby, Notts County Football Club, St. George’s Park, St. Helens Rugby Club, Stoke City Football Club, Swansea City Association Football Club, Ospreys Rugby, West Bromwich Albion Football Club, West Ham United Football Club, and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

Here’s a little more on our newest three venues:

Gloucester Rugby Club – Kingsholm Stadium

Gloucester Rugby Conference and Events is one of the largest and most prestigious conferencing locations in Gloucestershire. With 16 pitch facing meeting rooms they can accommodate anything from a small meeting for two, multi rooms for assessments and interviews to larger board room meetings for 24 and the more traditional Workshops, Exhibitions and large conferences for up-to 350 delegates.

Harlequins Rugby Club – Twickenham Stoop Stadium

This exceptional venue breaks the monotony of Hotel meeting spaces with its unusual setting and exciting surroundings. Suitable for every type of conference, meeting or event, the venue can cater for one-person office spaces to 400 delegate conferences.

Scunthorpe United Football Club – Glanford Park Stadium

Glanford Park is the premier venue for Conferences & Events in Scunthorpe. Ideal for conferences, exhibitions, seminars, interviewing, weddings, parties and bespoke events, the venue boasts three large conference suits and multiple breakout rooms.  The variety of rooms can accommodate meetings, lunches and dinners from 10 to 200 people.

Stadium Experience is a not-for-profit marketing collaboration aiming to promote and market stadium venues for conferences, meetings and events.  The organisation was established in 2002 focusing for football venues, and evolved in 2013 to welcome rugby stadium venues too.

With the increasing membership, Stadium Experience has significantly stepped up its activities in recent years.  Some examples include; sharing best practice and ideas with five dedicated networking events each year, joint exhibition opportunities (such as BNC London, Square Meal Venues & Events and Event Organisers Forum, The Meetings Show and more), meeting event buyers and key agencies as a consortium, regular newsletters, an annual recognitions awards celebration; The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards and much more.
