Skales billed to electrify National Jackpot studio in week 17 jackpot draw

Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, who performs under the mononym Skales will in Week 17 National Jackpot Draw, electrify the National Jackpot Studio with Agolo, Swagger Man, Nobody's Business and Shake Body among others.


It will interest you to know that Skales was born and raised in Kaduna State, but none of his parents is from Kaduna, while his father is from Cameroon, his mother is from Edo State.


Skales was surrounded by music while growing up, as his mum used to sell CD’s and owned a cassette store and sold gospel CD’s way back in Kaduna.


In 2000, he started writing rap songs in Kaduna, between 2007 and 2008, he travelled to Jos to work with Jesse Jagz and Jeremiah Gyang, while moving over to Lagos Skales signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment after meeting Banky W. in 2009.


He released the singles "Mukulu" and "Keresimesi" simultaneously. In May 2014, he established his own record label, OHK music; all are now history as he has carved a niche for himself in the music industry in Nigeria. His first single, “Must Shine” enjoyed good airplay early 2009 and he has gone on to record and write well over 20 songs.
