Kanu urges Wenger to sign more players despite Mustafi, Perez arrival

Former Arsenal fans favourite Kanu Nwankwo has urged Manager Arsene Wenger to invest more in quality players despite the arrival of Shkrodan Mustafi and Lucas Perez.

Wenger has recently concluded deals for Mustafi and Perez to bolster his backline and attack but the former Gunner legend insist that due to the ever changing nature of the transfer market, the manager need to spend big if they are to win any trophy this season.

The formal Arsenal man made this known to Underthecosh during a stopover on his way to Alliston, Ontario, where the Kanu Soccer Academy has been holding an International Soccer Camp since the start of the month.

Kanu who praised the manager for his policy in having young players in the team also want him to mix it up with some seasoned players, as the such blend was responsible for the trophy laden period Arsenal had in the past while he was at the club.

” Sometimes in life you have to take risks and buy. I’m am Arsenal fan now and I want us to win trophies, the more we can spend the more we can get quality players which will help us out” He told Underthecosh.
