7EVEN Interactive restates commitment to innovation

(Lagos, Nigeria) 7EVEN Interactive, a fast growing advertising agency in Nigeria has reiterated commitment to more innovative ideas that will position its client well in the marketing space.

Speaking to a selected group of journalists to mark the first anniversary of the agency at its Opebi office in Lagos,  Mr. Taiwo, Agboola, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of 7EVEN Interactive said it is imperative for practitioners to do away with old creative approach in advertising and embrace innovation.

He said, the agency is blessed with young and dynamic individuals who did not want to be entrapped in the old ideas.

“What we have going for us is that we are youthful. We are doing it differently. We want to go extra miles to satisfy our clients because clients are now more demanding, and if you mess up they go to the next shop,” he said.

He added that the new generation of consumers is bored with advertising that do not generate conversations, spark intelligence, and create rhetoric.

For instance, one of its clip, Fidelity Bank’s commercial shows male and female characters going through a replica of military drilling, passing through different barriers till they eventually finished well, and got the Fidelity Bank lapel pin for a well done job. For the agency, that is what Fidelity go through (a touch job) to put smile on the faces of the customers beyond the normal banking services.

He said though most stakeholders described the agency as young, if the experiences of the principal staff are to be added, 7EVEN Interacative’s experience spans over 30 years in the industry.

He said despite being young, the agency is enjoying massive referral from agency whose targets have been met through innovative ideas of the agency.

In the same vein, Ndukwe Onuha, Head of Creative of 7EVEN Interactive says, “What drives our creativity is the hunger to do more. Though there are many agencies that have been there for 20 years, but in our agency we see things from different perspectives, and one thing that has really worked for us is that we have young and talented individuals who are dedicated and who also have diverse background  and they come together to give these collective experiences to the job.”
